What should I wear?
When selecting outfits for your session, aim for a cohesive color palette mixing in textures and patterns. Everyone doesn't need to wear the same exact colors but they should complement each other. Avoid logos and identical patterns to keep things visually interesting. The colors and styles you choose will set the overall tone of your photos, so think about the mood you want to create. If you’re unsure about what to wear or need help organizing your outfits, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to assist!
What time of day is best for our session?
The time of day you choose for your session will affect your photos. Morning sessions have bright, vibrant light with an airy feel, while evening/golden hour light is warm, soft, and more relaxed. My personal choice would be evening/golden hour.

What's included in my extended family session?
Extended family sessions capture a mix of candid moments and posed portraits. Each family will receive their own personalized images, along with various groupings—both large and small—ensuring you get every shot you could hope for and more!
What if my children won't stay still and smile for the camera?
My advice to every parent: let go of any expectations when it comes to little ones. Children are often shy and may not be ready to stop and smile for someone they've just met. Instead of forcing the perfect poses at the beginning, I focus on interactive, guided poses that allow for more natural, candid moments. Once your child warms up to me I’ll work to capture the standard smiling family photo—and 9 times out of 10, we’ll get it! As a mom of two, I’m no stranger to getting a little silly or messy to make sure we get that shot! But if we don’t, rest assured, I’ll still have captured your family in those authentic moments—real, raw, and full of life.
